Rocky Mountain West — Since 1998

The country is hard. That's the point.

Backcountry guided elk and mule deer hunts in Colorado's high units — wall-tent camps, wild miles, and guides who pack out heavy.

No. 01 — The Difference

We don't sell hunts. We sell the country that earns one.

Anybody can put you on a road and call it guided. We pack you miles past the trucks — into high, dark, unpressured units where the bulls still bugle and the bucks still go heavy. You'll work for it. That's why it sticks with you.

Hunts

Pick your season.

Fully outfitted — camp, stock, meat care, and a guide who's hunted these drainages for a quarter century. You bring the tag.

No. 02 — The Country

High units most outfits can't reach.

We hold permits in three of Colorado's hardest-to-draw backcountry units — the kind of ground you can only hunt with stock and a reason to be there.

33The Bench— Dark north-facing timber, OTC archery, rutting bulls thick as the deadfall.
76High Basins— Above timberline mule deer, glassing country, heavy old bucks.
551The Burn— Limited-draw elk in regrowth and blowdown. Few tags, big payoff.

Camp

Canvas, woodstoves,
and 25 years of tracks.

Hot meals, dry bags, and a woodstove that doesn't quit — packed in by horse and run by guides who've worked these drainages since before you drew your first tag.
